The first ride we ever did together kicked off a friendship and a shared obsession that has spanned more than 15 years and thousands of kilometres. Although on paper we could not be more different, we have explored countless back roads, forgotten tracks, and hidden mountain passes. We are always chasing that feeling of finding the road less travelled, poring over maps, spotting a dotted line we have never followed, or carving out a path through the vast landscapes of the Cape Fold Mountains in South Africa.

In 2022, Greg moved to Europe for a couple of years. While there, he took part in a number of motorcycle rallies across the Alps and the UK. These experiences brought together rugged adventure, storytelling, and style in a way that lit a new fire. The seed was planted: why not bring that same kind of world-class motorcycle adventure rally to our own backyard?

The answer became Pangea Rally, an international motorcycle adventure rally created for riders from around the world who crave exploration, challenge, and community. More than just motorcycles, it is about the land itself: the ancient mountain ranges, the remote Karoo, the ridgelines, sweeping curves, and coastal tracks that have given us some of the best days of our lives.

We built this rally for people like us, people who love adventure, who thrive on discovering new terrain, and who value the camaraderie that comes from a long day in the saddle and a good banter at the end of the day over a meal and a cold glass.
